Dining room table, chairs, and dressers needed

I have a single mom and family with one child that recently moved into a new house after a spell of being homeless. The family has minimal furniture and is in great need of a dining room table and chairs as well as a few dressers. The family currently has all their clothes on the floor in boxes and they eat all their meals on their little couch in the living room. They would be very appreciative of any assistance. Thank you. Twin Box Spring and Mattress Needed

We have a client that is getting ready to start a trial home visit in December and is in need of a box spring and mattress for a twin bed. His parents had to store his in the garage when an older sister had to move in the home for a short time while he was in residential and it got moldy and is no longer usable. There is a 6 month old baby in the home and his parents are barely making it on their two jobs and can’t afford to buy one right now, even used. If anyone has one or knows of one that someone would like to donate to this client please give me a call. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Male Foster Youth in Need of Furniture

We have a 16 year old male that is in foster care and we are trying to place him into an independent supported living arrangement placement to meet his needs. In order to get this accomplished, he needs to have his own furniture, a bed, dresser, chair, etc. If anyone is willing to donate or knows of someone who can donate these items, please contact PJ Parker in the Clark County Children’s Division office at (660)727-6693. This young man would be living in the Jefferson City area and he would be extremely appreciative of any help you can be in helping him accomplish this goal.
Family Needs Two Beds
DYS is working with a family who recently relocated to the area from St. Louis. They have nothing in the way of furniture. We have directed them to resources in the community for other needs and our agency is providing clothing and hygiene products for the adolescent in the home. At this time, their biggest need is two beds of any kind. They are currently sleeping on the floor, using clothing as a cushion of sorts.
