DYS is working with a 17 year old female and her family.  The 17 year old needs to be in St Louis as a witness for a court case September 13th and has a subpoena to appear.  The family just relocated to Jefferson City and has limited resources.  They do not have enough gas to make the trip to St Louis for the court appearance.  We are looking for community resources to either provide transportation to St Louis or to provide gas money for the trip.   The family plans to leave Sunday evening the 12th due to the early court time so any gas donation could be made then.   Please contact Christina.Helmig@dss.mo.gov if someone is able to help with this need.
