There is a family where the mother is working towards transitioning her children back to her home after they have been out of her home for almost 6 years. The children live in Washington county, which is a 3 ½ hour drive for the mother one way. She has visits with her children one day per week and is really struggling to make ends meet due to the gas prices. While the children are transitioning to the home, the mother could benefit from a gas card to help her with the cost of gas to and from her visits with her children. It is our hope to move the children home with the mother, whom lives in Jefferson City, within the next month.
